Why Taylor Swift has been seen less often watching Travis Kelce at 2025 Chiefs games

Taylor Swift isn't the most inconspicuous person.

It's hard to be when you're arguably the most famous pop-star in the world. The 35-year old tends to be trailed by an armada of phones and cameras.

Swift's reputation followed her in NFL stadiums throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the result of her high-profile romance with Kansas City Chiefs star -- and now-fiance -- Travis Kelce.

Swift's presence at NFL games was a spectacle during the first two years of her and Kelce's relationship. Now, it's unclear if she's attending games altogether.

So, is Swift still watching Kelce's every move during his contests? Or has she opted to stay away from Arrowhead Stadium and the other stadiums around the country? Here's what you need to know.

Is Taylor Swift watching Travis Kelce?

Given the nature of Swift's romance with Kelce, it is likely that she still has eyes on Kelce's games.

Whether she has been at games is a different matter. Swift's presence at games caused uproar in 2023 and 2024. The desire to know her whereabouts has followed her in 2025. But she's proven more elusive so far.

Swift was reportedly in attendance during the Chiefs' Week 2 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City's Week 4 win over the Baltimore Ravens. There was no confirmed Swift sighting in either matchup, leading some to believe she is avoiding Chiefs games altogether.

Whereas Swift was made a central figure in Chiefs coverage last year, she rarely features on broadcasts now. It's unclear why, although she is believed to be keeping a lower profile than usual at games.

It's unclear quite why Swift has avoided the spotlight at Kelce's games. Safety could be a factor -- she has dealt with myriad stalkers over the years, one of whom she was recently granted a five-year restraining order against.

Regardless, Swift still appears committed to attending Kelce's games when she has the chance. She just doesn't seem interested in filling the public in when she does.

Has Taylor Swift been going to Chiefs games?

Swift hasn't graced many television screens during Chiefs games this season. That doesn't mean she's avoiding Arrowhead Stadium, though. Some hypothesized that the 14-time Grammy Award winner attended Kansas City's Week 2 fixture vs. the Eagles after video emerged showing Arrowhead staff scrambling to move a black wall up as an unidentified guest walked into the stadium.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reported that plane-tracking data showed Swift's private jet set sight towards Kansas City while the Chiefs jousted with the Ravens in Week 4.  TMZ also reported that Swift attended contest, although she was in incognito, watching along with her father and brother in a suite with Kelce's mother, Donna.

In August, DeuxMoi reported that Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl" tour is likely to start in 2027. If that were the case, that would theoretically free up more time for Swift to watch Kelce and his Kansas City teammates attempt to capture another championship ring.
