The Toronto Raptors have signed a former No. 1 overall pick to their roster.
Markelle Fultz is returning to the NBA.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Monday afternoon that the Raptors are signing Fultz to a 10-day contract.
This comes after Fultz got a stint with Raptors 905 in the G League. He averaged 9.4 points and 6.2 assists per game there before getting this spot with the Raptors in the NBA.

Why are the Raptors signing Markelle Fultz?
The Raptors needed another possible point guard on the roster.
Immanuel Quickley played on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns, but a foot injury has ruled him out for Monday against the Utah Jazz.
The closest and simplest point guard for Toronto to add was Fultz.
It's not a given that he'll play much, but he's got a spot back at the NBA level.
Fultz was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers out of Washington, but he never lived up to the hype, in large part because an injury seemed to entirely break his jump shot.
He still has some playmaking capabilities, and we'll see if he gets the shot to show that with the Raptors.
How long will Markelle Fultz be on Raptors?
His first contract is a 10-day deal.
Fultz could sign a second 10-day contract with the Raptors after this contract is up. But after two 10-days, a player needs to sign a standard contract to remain in the NBA.
