Why Immanuel Quickley isn't playing tonight for Raptors with injury news

1 hour ago 2

The Toronto Raptors have gotten their playoff series with the Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games.

And in Game 7 on Sunday, they're going to have to manage with the same issue they've had in the first six games: Immanuel Quickley isn't playing.

The talented and score-happy point guard has missed the entire series.

The Raptors had already made clear on April 24 that Quickley wouldn't return until potentially in the second round.

To get there, they'll have to win in Cleveland on Sunday night.

Why isn't Immanuel Quickley playing tonight?

Quickley remains out with a right hamstring strain.

He sustained the injury in the final game of the regular season and hasn't played since.

It has pushed Jamal Shead and Ja'Kobe Walter into more playing time.

When is Immanuel Quickley coming back?

There's no official timeline yet.

The Raptors only made it official that he wouldn't play in the first round.

They likely won't provide an update until they potentially advance.
