WWE Superstars have been trekking outside of the promotion in recent years. We've seen a handful of names appear in TNA Wrestling since their partnership was announced, but several have made their debuts elsewhere, such as GCW's Bloodsport and the National Wrestling Alliance. Now it seems that WWE might be blocking a match from being shown.
Back in May, it was revealed that Natalya Neidhart would take part in the 2025 Crocket Cup. The BOAT was scheduled to face then-champion Kenzie Page on May 17th, and did so. However, the match has never been released to the public, at least not in an official capacity. It's possible to find clips from fans in attendance, but nowhere on NWA's official outlets.
Now, it seems, we may at least know what the holdup is. According to a Fightful Select report, WWE itself could be responsible for the situation.

"After Nattie Neidhart's interview with Cody Rhodes, we had a number of readers also asking about her NWA match. It didn't end up airing, and was heavily implied it was WWE that made that decision."It's a strange situation to say the least. And now, Kenzie Page isn't even the champion, as Natalia Markova won the NWA Women's Championship from her at a taped event back in August, which just recently aired.
WWE's Natalya believes her match with Kenzie Page helped prove herself
The interview mentioned in the Fightful Select report was the latest episode of What Do You Want To Talk About, Cody Rhodes' podcast. Alongside promoting her memoir, The Last Heart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE, Natalya spoke on several different subjects, including her matches in GCW, NWA, and Booker T's ROW. She was inspired by Rhodes, who took a chance on himself when he left WWE in 2016.
Natalya decided to take a bet on herself and showed up at Bloodsport earlier this year. After a stellar victory against Miyu Yamashita, she wanted to prove it wasn't a fluke and looked to NWA, where her friend, Billy Corgan, runs things.
"I said to Billy, 'Give me your best girl, and I wanna work a match with her and build a program with her.' He gave me Kenzie Paige. I said to TJ, 'My match with Kenzie? I'm going to show everybody that my match with Miyu was not a fluke.' Kenzie and I at NWA sold out the ECW Arena. The match was amazing, it was so much fun. I said to TJ afterwards, 'I wanna make sure everybody knows that match with Kenzie and that match with Miyu were not a fluke.'" -Natalya Neidhart on What Do You Wanna Talk About?
