Why GTA 6 should let you play as the online protagonist in single player

It is confirmed that you will be playing as Jason and Lucia in GTA 6. However, there is a small chance that you might be able to control another character that has not been revealed yet. This twist was given by Rockstar Games in previous titles, which many players loved.

Story characters and your online characters are usually completely separate from each other. However, an argument can be made that playing as your online character in single player, along with Jason and Lucia, can be one of the most unique gameplay features.

If you get to create your own character for both the online and story mode versions of GTA 6, you might be able to play a few missions with Jason and Lucia. Since it will be your unique character interacting with story mode characters, you might feel a lot more connected to them and the world around you. There can be an option to switch between your online character, Jason, and Lucia.

While most of the story mode missions might consist of Jason and Lucia, your own character could also pop in and out occasionally.

Another way Rockstar Games can implement online protagonists into story mode is by bringing them after Jason and Lucia's story ends. The online character can be created and introduced in the epilogue part of the story. After creating the character, the story can continue for a while, where your character gets into the criminal world and makes a name.

Jason and Lucia could also work directly with your character, along with other characters. This way, the story mode could gradually shift to the online experience. Of course, there can be an option to directly jump into the online experience that gives a spoiler-free experience of what happened in the main story.
