Brayton and Brydon Feister are transferring from one Ohio high school football powerhouse to another.
According to multiple reports including On3 Sports, the Feister brothers are leaving Akron Archbishop Hoban to play at Massillon Washington.
Brayton will be a senior in the fall, and Brydon will be a junior.
Both are standout recruits on the defensive side of the ball, with Brayton a four-star in Rivals rankings and Brydon a three-star.
There are a lot of implications here.
Why this matters
This is a big deal in part just because of the schools involved.
Hoban is one of the state's top Division II schools.
Massillon is a Division I powerhouse with 25 state championships in its history.
Then you get onto the football field, and the elder brother Brayton is a two-way force. In 2025, he had 133 tackles, including 13 sacks, and also ran for 17 touchdowns.
Brydon is a still-growing football talent, as well, but it's in wrestling where he might make the biggest mark at Massillon. He's already a two-time state champion, first at 190 pounds and then in 2026 in the heavyweight class.
Massillon is coming off a 9-4 season, and adding the Feister brothers could be a big step in the right direction for the storied program.
