The Los Angeles Lakers are going through their Wednesday matchup with the San Antonio Spurs without their newest superstar.
Austin Reaves has elevated his game to a whole new level, but he's missing out on the showdown with Victor Wembanyama.
The good news for the Lakers is that Luka Doncic remains on the floor.
The bad news is that Reaves joined LeBron James on the sideline.

Why isn't Austin Reaves playing tonight?
Austin Reaves is missing the Spurs matchup with an injury.
He has a hurt groin.
Reaves has now missed consecutive games with that injury.
The star guard was upgraded to questionable on Tuesday, then participated in shootaround Wednesday, but the Lakers played it safe.
They get two days off before returning to action Saturday. That would seem a good gap and then return opportunity for Reaves as long as nothing acts up in the next couple of days.
