His name came up during a Friday episode of former NFL player Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast, when his guest, Natalie Nunn, denied having a romantic relationship with the former LA Lakers star despite his massive gesture.

Newton was caught by surprise by the information. He made attempts to probe further to no avail as the reality star stuck to her story that his gesture, buying her a car, had no strings attached.

“Shaq bought me my first car,” Nunn said. “You dated Shaq?” Newton asked. “Something isn’t adding up. … Why are you so sensitive?”

There were rumors that Shaquille O’Neal had a relationship with the “Bad Girls Club” star. This came shortly after he broke up with another reality star, Nicole ‘Hoopz’ Alexander in the summer of 2010. His encounter with her took place when she was a student at USC and was part of the women’s soccer team.
