Al Horford entered Friday expected to play for the Golden State Warriors for the Denver Nuggets.
But by tipoff, Horford was in street clothes.
He joined Steph Curry on the sideline. Curry was already known to be out due to his illness.
The same was not true for Horford, who was a pretty late scratch.

Why isn't Al Horford playing tonight?
Al Horford is out on Friday due to a late injury scratch.
He wasn't on the injury report until about six hours before tip.
When the Warriors added Horford to the injury list, it was with foot soreness. He was listed as questionable.
They ruled him out about an hour before the game began.
It continued a slow start to the season for Horford, who is new to the Warriors this year.
He hasn't played in back to backs, and his shooting stroke hasn't delivered so far.
Golden State coach Steve Kerr has spoken with confidence about Horford, suggesting he'll get back to the player he usually is.
But so far, it's been an underwhelming Warriors tenure for Horford, and he's not out there Friday to start changing the narrative.
