Who is the Bengals' backup QB?
The Bengals' backup QB is Jake Browning.
Browning has appeared in 12 games in the NFL, seven starts.
He made all seven starts in 2023 for the Bengals, going 4-3 in those games with a 70.4 completion percentage to go with 12 TDs and 7 INTs.
Browning was originally an undrafted player out of Washington.
He's 29 years old and 6-foot-2.

Behind them, they have Brett Rypien on the practice squad, but he wasn't elevated for Sunday, so if Browning were to get hurt, too, it's not clear what would come next against the Jags.
