Next Gen NYC is back for season two with new faces, new changes, and new drama. The first episode of the season dropped yesterday (June 24), and fans are already obsessed.
For those who are unfamiliar with Next Gen NYC, just imagine the children of Bravo icons and their friends trying to navigate the big city. The biggest reveal of the Season 2 premiere is undoubtedly the break up between Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy. Quite a few of their cast mates think the timing of the break up is quite timely for the show.
In addition to Biermann and McLeroy’s spit, the cameras capture the cast’s reactions to Ava Dash‘s eviction, Charlie Zakkour’s legal scandal, and Emira D’Spain’s epic birthday party.
The show also gained a newcomer who has caught the eye of fans. Introduced to the show by playing hockey with Brooks Marks, Liam Obergfoll has viewers of the show are wondering who is, and why is he on Next Gen NYC? Read on to find out more.

Who Is Liam Obergfoll?
Liam Obergfoll is a 29 year old actor born and raised in New York. If you were a Nickelodeon kid in 2015, there’s a slight possibility you might recognize him—maybe not without the zombie make up. He is known for his roles as zombie turned real boy Philip Van Pelt in season two and three of the Every Witch Way and Tyson Fuccinelli in Talia in the Kitchen. He was also featured in episodes of Law & Order, Younger, and Teachers.
In addition to being an actor, fans learned from his confessional on the show he has multiple hobbies, which include writing, directing, being a ski instructor and playing hockey on three different teams. He also rides horses, a motorcycle, and can surf. He revealed on the show he auditioned for Heated Rivalry although he did not get the role. Just in case the casting team for Heated Rivalry Season 2 is reading this… Obergfoll could make a good Troy Barrett in Season 2.
Although he is not the child of Bravo legends, or the daughter of acting icon Brooke Shields, Obergfoll fits right in with the rest of the cast with a fun and outgoing personality. Bravo.com also hints that he has his eye on a potential love connection in the cast, so we have to stay tuned for that.
