The Indianapolis 500 is the biggest event on the IndyCar Series schedule. It is always held over Memorial Day weekend and is often the only IndyCar race that casual fans tune in for.
This leads to IndyCar pulling out all the stops for the event. There is usually plenty of pomp and circumstance with driver introductions, the honorary starters and the national anthem singer. IndyCar usually goes with someone who is either a household name or has an established track record, and this year is no different.
Natalie Grant will be the national anthem singer at the 2025 Indy 500. Here is more on Grant and her esteemed career.
