Michael Schofield-Kendal Coyne-Schofield relationship timeline

Although they attended the same high school, the two didn't start dating until they crossed paths at a local gym while home on a college break.

Their shared passion for elite training and the grind of high-level athletics provided an immediate bond, leading them to start a long-distance relationship while Kendall played hockey at Northeastern and Michael played football for the University of Michigan.

The couple officially tied the week in July 2018, just months after a historic year for both: Michael had recently completed a deep NFL playoff run, and Kendall had just returned from Pyeongchang with her first Olympic Gold medal.

In July 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Drew. Beyond their individual careers, they launched the Schofield Family Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting military families, first responders, and youth sports.
