Who is Jennifer Meyer? Tobey Maguire's ex-wife is expecting 3rd child and first with her fiancé Geoff Ogunlesi

Jennifer Meyer, who was previously married to Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire, is expecting her first child with fiancé Geoff Ogunlesi. Meyer already shares two children with Maguire, Ruby (aged 19), and Otis (aged 16).

According to E! News, Jennifer Meyer announced the news of her third pregnancy on social media on December 19, posting pictures of her baby bump with the caption:

"Hey baby girl. We love love love you!"

For the uninitiated, Jennifer Meyer is the daughter of Ron Meyer, who was the former vice chairman of NBCUniversal. She is a jewelry designer who founded her eponymous jewelry brand in 2005. According to the brand's website, Meyer's love for jewelry began at an early age. As a six-year-old, her grandmother, Californian artist Edith Meyer, taught her to work with enamel.

Meyer has also worked in Communications for brands such as Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani before starting her jewelry line in 2005. Jennifer Meyer's accolades include being voted runner-up in the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund, a nomination for Accessories Design for the CFDA Swarovski Award in 2013, and winning Best Jewelry Designer at Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards in 2016.

In 2018, Meyer opened her flagship store in Palisades Village. In 2022, her brand expanded to include fragrance following the launch of Jennifer Meyer Eau de Parfum.

As for her personal life, Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire met in 2003 and tied the knot in 2007. They welcomed their daughter, Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, in 2006 and their son, Otis, in 2009. In 2016, Meyer and Maguire announced their separation in a joint statement, writing:

“After much soul-searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect, and friendship.”

Jennifer Meyer shared some insight into her divorce with her ex-husband, Tobey Maguire, when she appeared on an episode of The Inside Edit, which aired on December 1, 2025. Meyer said her divorce became one of her "greatest teachers" as it taught her patience.

She further said that she and Maguire went through "intense times" raising their children during their separation, adding:

"Our daughter was 10 or something. Those are some intense times that you need to stay connected. And then we had a son who was 7. It's like you're raising kids at an intense time. But he is wonderful and I got lucky for that. And my life— it was not easy every day, and I'm sure he would say the same thing, 100 percent, and we definitely had to overcome some big hurdles."

Meyer also referenced Gwyneth Paltrow's divorce from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2014, which the actress had described as "consciously uncoupled" at the time. Meyer added that she visited Paltrow's home after the divorce, where the actress introduced her to Dr. Habib Sadeghi to offer advice on handling divorce.

Furthermore, Meyer addressed her current relationship with Maguire, calling the actor her "best friend" who "would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him." She also said that he was "the best dad, the best ex-husband, the best friend, the most generous," adding that he had a good relationship with her fiancé.

Meyer also said that she, her children, and her fiancé stayed at Maguire's home during the wildfires in Los Angeles earlier this year, adding:

"It was the greatest. Every day I would walk in and I'd be like, 'I'm so lucky,' and then I'd come home at night and Tobey and Geoff and his best friend would be watching a movie on the couch. I'd be like 'How? This is a dream.'"
