After years of waiting, though, the Al-Nassr striker has finally found his wife. Ronaldo tied the knot with Georgina Rodriguez on Tuesday, taking their nine-year relationship to another level.

Ronaldo's wife is Georgina Rodriguez. She is an Argentine-Spanish model, influencer and entrepreneur who met Ronaldo in 2017 at a Gucci store. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Jaca, a town located 200 miles northwest of Barcelona, per Tudum. Rodriguez moved to Madrid at 18.
She has proven a force in the modeling and entrepreneurial worlds over the year, posing for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Guess, Gucci, Prada and Chanel, among other famous brands. Armed with an Instagram following of more than 74 million, Rodriguez is one of the biggest names in fashion — even if you're not that familiar with her.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez's relationship began in earnest in 2017. The two met at a Gucci store, where Rodriguez was working as a sales associate.
As the story goes, Rodriguez stayed behind after closing a client, leading to a chance encounter with Ronaldo — who was then leading the line for Real Madrid.
Rodriguez found the Portuguese striker to be "very handsome" and "two meters tall", she told Tudum. Meanwhile, Ronaldo praised Rodriguez for her maturity, per People.
“I remember that when we held hands for the first time, I felt inexplicable peace and energy," Rodriguez told Vogue Arabia in 2025. "When people are in love like we are, they know what that strong connection is. That spark we had since we met has also grown and matured over time.”

Ronaldo and Rodriguez started dating shortly after their first meeting, spending eight years together as boyfriend and girlfriend before Ronaldo proposed in Aug. 2025. They were officially wed in Aug. 2026.
