WWE NXT Battleground 2025 fight card
- Oba Femi (c) vs. Myles Borne for the NXT Championship
- Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Jordynne Grace for the NXT Women's Championship
- Sol Ruca (c) vs. Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women's North American Championship
- Joe Hendry (c) vs. Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship
- Tony D'Angelo vs. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
- Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) and Josh Briggs vs. The Culling (Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Shawn Spears)
The main event will see Oba Femi defend the WWE NXT Championship against Myles Borne. Borne is partially deaf but has not let that define him. The No Quarter Catch Crew member stated, "I want to be judged by my ability, not by my disability." And that has happened thanks to his skills in the ring.
The dominant Femi has beaten all challengers. He is only focused on what goes on in the ring and does not believe Borne's story will factor into the match.
"None of that sob story matters," Femi told Jimmy V3 via Wrestling Inc. "I'm not one for underdogs. I don't care much for underdogs. I empathize with him and his story, him being deaf and all that stuff, but come Battleground, it's game time. I don't care if you're deaf, I don't care about your sad story, I just want to win, and Myles is in the way."
TNA Wrestling will be featured heavily at this event. The TNA World Title will be on the line when Joe Hendry defends the belt against former NXT Champion Trick Williams. Hendry has taken advantage of the WWE-TNA partnership. Can Williams dethrone Hendry and take over TNA?
Meanwhile, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace takes on Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women's Championship. Grace is one of the strongest wrestlers out there. Can she use her skills to take out Vaquer, or will the latter's reign continue?
Meanwhile, Sol Ruca defends the NXT Women's North American Championship against Kelani Jordan, Tony D'Angelo faces Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, and Hank and Tank team with Josh Briggs to take on The Culling.
