Tottenham’s Europa League win came with a hefty price tag. Goalscorers James Maddison and Dominic Solanke both picked up knocks in the second half against Bodø/Glimt, and while neither injury appears catastrophic, Maddison’s condition is under review as he awaits scan results. Solanke is expected to sit out the second leg as a precaution.

Things look worse for Lucas Bergvall, who was spotted on crutches after injuring his ankle in training. Ange Postecoglou has already ruled the youngster out for the rest of the season. Skipper Son Heung-min remains sidelined with a foot issue, while Radu Dragusin continues his long road back from an ACL tear.

Postecoglou made eight changes for last weekend’s demolition at Anfield, and with injuries piling up and rotation needed ahead of Thursday, don’t be surprised if he rings the changes again on Sunday.

There was no fresh word on Edson Alvarez in Graham Potter’s press conference, but signs point to the midfielder being in contention after a back issue. Michail Antonio (leg) and Crysencio Summerville (hamstring) remain long-term absentees.

With Tottenham juggling injuries and European distractions, Potter may tweak his setup to go on the front foot—possibly ditching a centre-back to bring Niclas Füllkrug into a more attacking 4-2-3-1 shape after last weekend's 3-5-2.
