Top Rank Boxing has a great fight in store for Sunday, May 4. Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue will return to the United States to take on Ramon Cardenas.

The undefeated Inoue will look for his 30th career win. Cardenas enters with a 26-1 career record and has won 14 of his matches by knockout. Inoue has only had three of his fights go the distance, as the other 26 have ended with a knockout.

The two boxers will headline TopRank's card from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Inoue being undefeated and the more decorated fighter is expected to take home the majority of the purse for the fight. Reports suggest that he made $7 million for his win over Kim Ye-joon this past January. This week's projections have him earning between $7.5 million and $8 million. 

Cardenas isn't as well-known a fighter in the United States. Still, he is set to have the best payday of his career so far with an estimated take home between $1 million and $1.5 million.

We don't know for sure. Heading into 2025, Inoue's net worth was $7 million according to various reports. He then won his fight in January, which likely netted him a $7 million payday. The Japanese boxer has also since signed a sponsorship with Riyadh Season. Following this fight in the U.S., he is expected to next fight in Saudi Arabia.
