Team USA will play in the medal round of Olympic mixed doubles curling for the first time.
Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin clinched a spot in the semifinals with a pair of victories Sunday, securing a place in the bracket with one round-robin game still to play Monday morning.
Great Britain, which defeated the Americans on Saturday, has completed round-robin play with an 8-1 record and locked up the top seed in the semis. Sweden is also done and in the semis after going 5-4. Team USA (6-2) and Italy (5-3) face each other Monday, with the winner in line to take the No. 2 seed.
It's a quick turnaround, with the semis set for Monday afternoon, but the "Cory and Korey" team knows it will play for either the gold or bronze medal on Tuesday. That in itself is an achievement after the Americans went 3-6 in mixed doubles pool play four years ago in Beijing and 2-5 at Pyeongchang 2018.

Team USA's mixed doubles semifinal will air live on USA Network and can be streamed via Peacock, which will carry every event of the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics live.

When does USA mixed doubles curling play next?
- Date: Monday, Feb. 9
- Time: 4:05 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. ET
Team USA will play its final round-robin game against Italy beginning at 4:05 a.m. ET, then return to the ice for its semifinal game against an opponent to be determined at 12:05 p.m. ET.
The games will be played at the Cortina Olympic Curling Stadium.
