UFC 315 will be at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on May 10. The early prelims start at 6:30 p.m. ET, while the prelims are at 8 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET, and Muhammad and Della Maddalena should make their way to the octagon around 12:30 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Muhammad (24-3, 1 NC) is on an eleven-fight unbeaten streak since 2019. In a rematch three years in the making, he beat Leon Edwards last July to win the UFC welterweight title. A fight against top contender Shavkat Rakhmonov has gotten delayed several times. 

Competing for the first time in almost a year, Muhammad is ready to prove why he’s champion. He believes Della Maddalena will be overwhelmed on fight night. 

"Jack has never fought anybody like me," Muhammad told TNT Sports via The Playoffs. "He’s never been in that type of predicament where a guy’s a better striker than him. But then I could also take you down. I will and there is no plan B for him. He only has Plan A, is to box… That is really the path to victory for me. 

"I could out-strike him, and then if I decide, I’ll take him down. And then, if I decide, I’ll pull guard. I can do whatever I want with this guy. I can win in any way I want, in multiple ways."

Ranked fifth at welterweight, it is Della Maddalena’s (17-2) first fight in a year. Before the layoff, the Aussie impressed against Kevin Holland and Gilbert Burns. Originally scheduled to fight Edwards, the 28-year-old with 12 wins via knockout is ready to take advantage of the opportunity that awaits him.
