Real Madrid renew their fight to climb back up the La Liga table as they welcome Villarreal to the Spanish capital on Saturday.
Los Blancos sit fourth in the standings, having suffered two defeats through the first seven matches of the 2026/27 campaign thus far. They were sent off into the extended international break after losing to cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid by a 2-1 score, forced to sit with that bitter taste for nearly three weeks before club action returns.
This league match will preface Real Madrid's return to Champions League play midweek, where Jose Mourinho visits his former club Roma in the Italian capital on Wednesday.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the weekly schedule.
