The Kansas City Chiefs are one of many teams in the NFL that are being linked to wide receiver help in the form of free agent signings like Tyreek Hill and, most recently, a trade for someone like Marvin Harrison Jr.

With reports coming out Saturday morning that the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade involving Harrison, but haven't made the deal official yet, the Chiefs are one of the many teams that could wind up being his landing spot.

However, according to NFL insider Aaron Wilson for KPRC 2, the Chiefs, alongside the Indianapolis Colts, are reportedly not the landing spot for Harrison amid this reported trade.

Chiefs are reportedly not the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade destination

"Texans involved in ongoing trade discussions regarding Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., per league sources, with 2028 second-round draft pick involved in potential deal," Wilson reports. "Nothing finalized and Cardinals want more teams to bid. Player is aware he will be moved and will be inactive for Lions game. Chiefs and Colts are not trading for Harrison, per sources."

With the Houston Texans seemingly emerging as the landing spot for Harrison, the Chiefs and the Colts are reportedly not going to be his landing spot this season.

Despite the Chiefs looking for wide receiver help, especially after the Tyquan Thornton injury, they do not appear likely to win this bidding war for Harrison.

It's a very interesting situation, with all the reporting suggesting that Harrison is on the move, but no deal is finalized and the team he'll eventually join is not known just yet.

Speculation is running rampant, and the Texans have become the most likely landing spot with all of the reporting suggesting a deal is possible.

For the Chiefs, however, it appears they'll have to pivot elsewhere. Whether it's a trade for another wide receiver or signing someone in free agency, Kansas City seemingly will not be the team to land Harrison in the near future, based on Wilson's report.

This isn't over yet, and the Chiefs could potentially emerge as his landing spot if the Texans, or whichever team is most interested, backs out after Sunday. But, for now, the signs are pointing towards the Chiefs not being the eventual landing spot for Harrison.
