"Thursday Night Football" returns to Lambeau Field in Week 8 for a clash between two of the league's better passers. They'll be looking to improve after suboptimal showings in their last game.
Jordan Love and the Packers will host Bryce Young and the Panthers during Thursday night's contest. The match should offer a platform for both men to offer off improved displays — Young toiled in Carolina's shock loss to the Buccaneers over the weekend producing two interceptions and a fumble, which was returned for a touchdown.
Love had a slightly better day on the office, completing 27-of-45 passes for 274 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Still, Green Bay's offense struggled to get going against a Lions defense that has struggled to keep teams quiet thus far this season. Detroit claimed a 20-17 win over the Packers, one that left a bitter taste for onlookers of a Green Bay disposition.
