Hosts and producers of Noona is A Woman to Me attend press conference, share thoughts & excitement on the reality dating show
An official press conference of the reality dating show, Noona is A Woman to Me, was held on October 27 at KBS in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by all the show hosts, except TXT's Soobin, and the producer, Park Jin-woo. The producer explained that his intention with the show was to stand out and create something more experimental.
He also added that they were particular about the casting and only took in people who were sincere about finding love. He also addressed the possible preconceived notions that the audience might have due to the age gap factor of the show. He requested the audience to focus on the fact that the eight participants are fixated on exploring romance, regardless of external factors.

Since he wanted the perspective of both older women and younger men, akin to the participants, Han Hye-jin, Hwang Woo-seul-hye, Jang Wooyoung, and TXT's Soobin were cast as the show hosts. On the other hand, the show hosts also shared their thoughts on the show.
Han Hye-jin explained that she has often seen the issue of an age gap occurring on many other dating shows, but the focus has instead been on the physical aspects of the couple. Therefore, here's what she expressed regarding the mindset the audience is expected to have while watching the show:
"Appearance matters, but while everyone knew the women were older, as emotions rise and relationships deepen, conflicts over age will start. That was a concern for us. Some have a 12-year gap but look young, and it will be interesting to see what changes occur in relationships when ages are revealed. I hope people pay attention to that.”She reiterated that the show also helped her rediscover the importance of soft and tender emotions. Hwang Woo-seul-hye, on the other hand, stated that she was worried about being an MC since she hadn't taken up similar roles previously. However, her current relationship with a younger man has helped her gain perspective on the show.
Jang Woo-young added that reality dating shows are usually not his type, but he became more curious and intrigued about the matches on the show. He also applauded the participants for their bold move in putting their love struggles and vulnerabilities for a greater audience. Additionally, from the episodes he had watched of Noona is A Woman to Me, he shared his thoughts on the same.
"From the beginning, it seemed the younger men prioritized their feelings rather than considering things deeply from their standpoint. So I felt an active attitude was important, and I realized the importance of timing.”Therefore, the hosts and producers closed the press conference by expressing that they are excited for the audience to experience all the episodes of Noona is A Woman to Me.
