No. 23 Kentucky has one more tune-up remaining before games that count, hosting UCF on Wednesday to close out the preseason.

The Wildcats have looked strong through two exhibition games, most notably in their 76-65 win over preseason No. 19 Texas Tech last Friday. It was a balanced effort, with five UK players scoring between 10 and 15 points in the contest, and transfers Milan Momcilovic (Iowa State), Zoom Diallo (Washington) and Alex Wilkins (Furman) continued to look more comfortable in the system.

Mark Pope will look for that to continue against the Knights, who have split a pair of preseason games so far. UCF opened with an 85-81 loss at LSU two weeks ago before bouncing back for an 80-74 win over D2 Rollins on Sunday.

The player to watch for the Knights is Dior Johnson, who played at UCF in 2024-25 before transferring to Tarleton State for last season but has returned to Orlando. The redshirt senior guard has scored 19 points in each of UCF's exhibitions and appears in line for a much more prominent role this season on a roster full of transfers.
