The Florida-Georgia rivalry reaches new heights in gymnastics. Two of the best programs in the nation, teams will meet in Gainesville for their first competition of 2025.
The No. 3 Gators are a top contender this season as they have the depth to go far. Skye Blakely is back after an injury at the 2024 Olympic trials, and transfer Selena Harris is a game-changer. The season is young, but Florida just needs to keep its foot on the gas, improving each week.
The No. 13 Dawgs, on the other hand, have plenty to improve upon this season. They took a big step forward in the second meet of the season, scoring a 196.825. It's going to be a journey under new head coach Cécile Canqueteau-Landi, but Simone Biles' longtime coach has the credentials. The Dawgs are young, highlighted by sophomores Lily Smith and Ady Wahl and juniors Kara Eaker and Naya Howard.
