Chelsea welcome Luton Town to Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup after making a winning start to the Xabi Alonso era.

The Blues beat west London neighbours Fulham 3-2 at Craven Cottage to kick off the 2026/27 Premier League season in style.

The failure to qualify for European football last season means Chelsea must now play in the second round of the Carabao Cup for just the third time in the 21st century.

Luton, in the Premier League as recently as 2023/24, have taken four points from their first two League One games of the campaign. They are managed by former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
