Where New York Giants sit in 2025 NFL Draft order following bye week

The New York Giants' chances to earn the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft took a significant hit during the bye week.

As the Giants prepare to come out of the bye for the final seven games of the season, they are among the teams with the best chance to land the top overall pick in the upcoming draft.

There are three other teams that share the Giants' record at 2-8 while the Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the top spot in the draft order — though they haven't had their bye week yet.

With the majority of Week 11 games concluded, here's a look at the updated NFL draft order, according to Tankathon.

2025 NFL Draft order

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9)
  2. Tennessee Titans (2-8)
  3. Cleveland Browns (2-8)
  4. Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)
  5. New York Giants (2-8)
  6. New England Patriots (3-8)
  7. New York Jets (3-8)
  8. Carolina Panthers (3-7)
  9. Dallas Cowboys (3-6)
  10. New Orleans Saints (4-7)
  11. Miami Dolphins (4-6)
  12. Cincinnati Bengals (4-6)
  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6)
  14. Chicago Bears (4-6)
  15. Indianapolis Colts (5-6)
  16. Seattle Seahawks (5-5)
  17. Los Angeles Rams (5-5)
  18. San Francisco 49ers (5-5)
  19. Denver Broncos (6-5)
  20. Atlanta Falcons (6-5)
  21. Houston Texans (6-4)
  22. Arizona Cardinals (6-4)
  23. Washington Commanders (7-4)
  24. Baltimore Ravens (7-4)
  25. Los Angeles Chargers (6-3)
  26. Green Bay Packers (7-3)
  27. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2)
  28. Minnesota Vikings (8-2)
  29. Philadelphia Eagles (8-2)
  30. Buffalo Bills (8-2)
  31. Kansas City Chiefs (9-1)
  32. Detroit Lions (9-1)

The Giants still have a shot at the No. 1 pick and at least a top three pick in the draft. That will be vital for their chances to grab a potential franchise quarterback.

Considering all four teams currently ahead of the Giants could find themselves looking for a quarterback — yes, even the Jaguars — holding the fifth overall pick might not be high enough to take a quarterback.

It will be interesting to see how the final two months of the season unfolds and with New York out of playoff contention, the competition for the No. 1 pick begins.
