Ricky Martin will take the stage at the break between Dallas and Baltimore, with the 54-year-old singer performing alongside Pedro Sampaio.
While Sampaio is from Rio, performing in front of his hometown crowd, Martin was raised elsewhere.

Where is Ricky Martin from?
Martin was born and raised in Puerto Rico.
Martin's mother, Dona Nereida Morales, was an accountant, and his father, Enrique Martin Negroni, was a psychologist. The star singer has two older maternal half-brothers, Fernando and Angel Fernandez, two younger paternal half-brothers, Eric and Daniel Martin, and a younger paternal half-sister, Vanessa Martin.
Martin's family also has Spanish heritage, moving from Segovia, Spain, to Puerto Rico in the late 1700s.

Martin is from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He previously told People Magazine in an interview that his parents divorced when he was 2 years old, and while his mother retained custody of him, he still "moved freely between his father’s house in the middle-class suburb of University Gardens and the home of his paternal grandmother nearby."
“I never had to make decisions about who I loved more,” he told People in 1995. “I was always happy.”
After starting to sing at the age of 6 and appearing in TV commercials by age 9, Martin auditioned to join thre Puerto Rican boy band "Menudo," a group which often replaced members around age 16 or 17 with new ones. It was by his third audition that Martin became a member at 12 years old.
His fame only increased from there, eventually leaving the band by July 1989 when he was 17 years old. Afterward, he joined a musical comedy play in Mexico City, accepted a role in the Mexican telenovela "Alcanzar una estrella II," and by 1991, he signed a record deal with Sony Discos, releasing his debut solo album, which sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.

Where does Ricky Martin live now?
Nowadays, Martin reportedly lives in a Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles, California.
In 2025, the New York Post reported that Martin was selling his $6.45 million home in New York City, noting that he also "owns a mid-century mansion in Beverly Hills."
