The BBC announced that a two-part Christmas special, set in Hong Kong and Poplar, will once again air before the season officially begins, and a prequel series, set in Poplar during World War II, is coming to the BBC in 2026. Additionally, a Call the Midwife film is also in production! The movie will be set overseas in 1972 and feature characters from the show.

Yes! In February 2023, the BBC announced that Call the Midwife has been renewed for Seasons 14 and 15.

Seasons 12, 13, and 14 of the series debuted on PBS in March of 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. We expect a similar release date — March 2026 — for the fifteenth installment.
