Tiger Woods has not played in any tournament since the TGL season concluded. His last TGL match was against Atlanta Drive Golf Club on March 5, when the Jupiter Links lost the game. Recently, a throwback clip went viral on social media, in which Woods was seen carding an eagle at the 2011 Australian Open.

The Australian Open’s X page shared the video of Woods playing on the greens and dropping an eagle. They captioned it, writing:

“This Tiger Woods eagle from 2011”

At the Australian Open, Woods scored 11-under in total and finished in third place on the tournament leaderboard. His scores in the first, second, third, and fourth rounds of the 2011 Australian Open were 68, 67, 75, and 67. Greg Chalmers won the tournament with a total score of 13-under and scoring 67-72-67-69 over the four rounds. John Senden finished second on the leaderboard with a total score of 12-under.

In the 2025 season, Woods won only one TGL event and joined the SoFi center press conference after his triumph.

Tiger Woods shares his thoughts after winning an event in the 2025 TGL roster

Tiger Woods didn't play any PGA Tour events this year, and his last appearance was in the 2024 Open Championship, where he failed to make the cut. This year, Woods even missed all the majors, including the Masters Tournament. Last year, he played at the Masters Tournament and finished in 60th place on the leaderboard.

In 2025, Woods only participated in the TGL events with his team, Jupiter Links, playing in five tournaments. Out of which, the team won the match against Boston Common Golf on January 27. Sharing his thoughts after the match, he said, via ASAP Sports:

“It was definitely different than when we first played. Lesson was learned the hard way. We came in here more prepared. It is so different than normal golf, playing in a bigger screen like this or the green moving and contorting the breaks. A putt you normally -- well, you hit once, automatically you already know the read, but they move the green on you. A putt that went right to left now goes left to right. Those are all little things we've had to learn on the fly. “TK was unbelievable coming in here. We did some good work the other day, and today it couldn't have been a more pleasurable display of golf, banter. Everyone in the audience was engaged. Hopefully all the viewership were engaged. We as players loved it…This is what we had envisioned for TGL, to have an experience like this, and I think we delivered,” he added.

Season 2's calendar for the TGL league is already out. Tiger Woods’ team, Jupiter Links’ first match will be played on January 14, 2026, against the New York Golf Club. The team's other matches in 2026 are on January 21, February 3, March 2, and 4.
