The newly released trailer for Netflix’s The Price of Confession opens with An Yun-su (Jeon Do-yeon) frantically calling emergency services while her husband lies bleeding beside her. Following his death during the interrogation, Yun-su’s detached behaviors like requesting a mild coffee during interrogation, mentioning crime shows like CSI and smiling casts doubt on her innocence.

Despite her repeated claims of not committing the crime, she is imprisoned and soon encounters Mo Eun (Kim Go-eun). Known as a witch and a murderer, Mo Eun shocks Yun-su by offering to confess to the crime in her place, but at a steep cost.

The trailer ot The Price of Confession builds suspense further as Yun-su’s seemingly calm demeanor is seen starting to crack. Her desperate breakdowns hint at a woman pushed to her limits. In parallel, Mo Eun’s quiet observation of Yun-su’s case evolves into a calculated offer that blurs the line between guilt and manipulation.

As Yun-su weighs Mo Eun’s dangerous proposal, prosecutor Baek Dong-hun (Park Hae-soo) and lawyer Jang Jeong-gu (Jin Sun-kyu) pursue their own investigations into the two women’s pasts, determined to expose the truth behind the murder. The preview closes with Mo Eun’s cryptic remark

“In the end, we’ll end up doing this crazy thing”
