9-1-1‘s FOX spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star only wrapped its five-season run a few months ago, but a new spin-off in Ryan Murphy’s hit franchise is already set to premiere: 9-1-1: Nashville.

Per ABC, “The newest entry into the franchise, 911: Nashville, is a high-octane procedural about heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities.”

Murphy, 9-1-1 showrunner Tim Minear, and 9-1-1: Lone Star showrunner Rashad Raisani will serve as executive producers and writers on 9-1-1: Nashville, with Chris O’Donnell, Brad Buecker, Brad Falchuk, and 9-1-1 star and EP Angela Bassett serving as executive producers. And despite Minear confirming to Decider that 9-1-1 and Nashville alum Connie Britton did come up in a 9-1-1: Nashville casting conversation, the new series is set to star O’Donnell as fire captain and rodeo rider Don Sharpe, who runs a fire house with his son.

Some 9-1-1 fans are understandably still mourning the loss of 9-11‘s Captain Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), and aren’t ready to open their hearts to a whole new cast. But for anyone who’s ready to witness some Nashville-centric emergencies and presumably hear some quality country music, here’s what to know about 9-1-1: Nashville, including premiere date info, filming updates, what time new episodes air, who else is in the 9-1-1: Nashville cast, and more.

Will There Be A 9-1-1 And 9-1-1: Nashville Crossover Episode?

“They have a really special event planned for 9-1-1: Nashville, and although we haven’t discussed [crossovers], I think it’s an incredible opportunity that I’m sure at some point we’ll figure out how to capitalize on,” Craig Erwich, president, Disney Television Group told Deadline in a recent interview. “What the 9-1-1‘s been able to do, it’s really a master class in television, which is consistently event-izing that show to keep it fresh after all these many years, my hat’s off to [showrunner] Tim {Minear] and Ryan for that.”

Is There A 9-1-1: Nashville Trailer?
