The Cleveland Browns are one of the more fascinating storylines heading into Thursday night’s NFL Draft.
There is still speculation on if the franchise has found their future quarterback, with Shedeur Sanders and DesShaun Watson seemingly dueling it our for now, but the Browns have been a main part of the chatter leading into the NFL Draft.
With two picks in the first round, there has been speculation that the Browns may trade back out of their No. 6 overall spot for extra draft capital, similar to what they did last year when they moved from No. 2 to No. 5 to acquire an extra second-round pick and another first-rounder, which is now their pick at No. 24 in this year’s draft.
The 2026 NFL Draft is slated to start at 8 p.m. EST in Pittsburgh. The Browns own the No. 6 and No. 24 picks. With the eight-minute clock for teams to submit their picks, Browns fans have to consider two time frames if they want to catch the selections in real-time.

When will the Browns actually pick?
With the NFL Draft starting at 8 p.m. EST, there will be five picks before the Browns are slated to make their first selection at No. 6.
Last year, the draft began roughly eight minutes after 8 p.m.
It is highly unlikely the Raiders use the full eight minutes each team is allotted to make their choice as it’s clear they are selecting Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza.
But assuming the Raiders do utilize the full eight minutes, and the other four teams in front of Cleveland do as well, the Browns should be picking around 8:56 p.m.
Fans should probably tune in around 8:30 just in case. Things move quickly some years, others nearly every team uses the full time they are given..
The No. 24 pick is a bit trickier as teams will use different amounts of time to make their picks in the first round, but assuming they all use the full eight minutes, then the Browns would pick again around 11:00 p.m.
If Browns fans want to play it safe, tune in around 10:30 p.m. for the No. 22 pick.
Now, this could all turn into chaos and be completely wrong if Cleveland decides to trade either of their picks, so the best bet is to tune in to the entire NFL Draft.
