The Bills and Lions were hardly dominant in their Week 1 wins. But victories are paramount at this point of the year and both sides proved adept at securing them in their respective season openers.
Buffalo secured a positive result in its clash against the Texans and their vaunted defense, with Josh Allen amassing four touchdowns — two by arm, two by feet. Buffalo's defense did just enough to deter its opposition, even if it did concede 31 points in the process.
Detroit, meanwhile, finds itself with a positive record only just, having failed to put the Saints away until the overtime period. It was far from a classic showing from Dan Campbell's side. Still, the result proved strong enough to add some further intrigue to its next outing.
