Bryan Johnson’s alien-like skincare hack is $19 on Amazon — Fans say it’s ‘wacky’ but works

Famed Biohacker Bryan Johnson is no stranger to some of the more unusual and expensive biohacking routines — but one of his simpler skincare hacks has just been revealed, and it costs less than $20.

The item in question is a reusable sheet mask from the brand Experiment.

The viral mask is currently just $19 ahead of Amazon’s October Prime Day, which kicks off October 6 and runs through October 7 (though many deals are already live). And it’s earned plenty of rave customer reviews despite its somewhat alien-like, “wacky” look.

Experiment CEO Lisa Guerrera took to TikTok after Johnson posted a video outside his sauna holding the brand’s bright green mask.

“So I don’t really know how to feel about this,” she said in the viral video. “But Bryan Johnson is using my brand’s product.”

Unlike one-and-done face masks, the Avant Guard mask features a durable, reusable silicone design meant to help cut down on waste.

Guerrera said there was one key feature that helped her identify the mask.

“We have a patent on the squiggly ear loops. It’s a very specific design to make it really comfortable to wear on the face,” Guerrera explained.

On Amazon, many reviewers have also praised its comfortable fit. One reviewer noted that it “fits a man’s face almost perfectly”— which might help explain why Bryan Johnson opted for it.

“It’s a reusable face mask, in case you were wondering, and he is not necessarily using it in that regard. He is using it to protect his skin in the sauna. You could totally do that,” she noted.

Guerrera also highlights that the mask can be used with any of your favorite serums. Experiment offers its own serum, which Guerrera described as very saturated. The hydrating formula is made with a 30% glycerin and polyglutamic acid base. It’s available for $28 on Amazon.

“This is cool but insane at the exact same time,” she added. “But yeah, if you want to steal his look…”
