With the sports world quieting down during the NBA, NFL and NHL offseasons, the biggest and brightest stars gather together in Los Angeles for the annual ESPY Awards.
The ESPYs are designed to celebrate the previous year of sports. Athletes from all sports are eligible to receive awards for their accomplishments in the past year.
The most known awards, of course, are the best men's and women's athletes as well as the best team. Each category has a set of finalists, and the winner will be revealed during the annual awards show on Wednesday, July 16.
