What the obsession with NFL draft positioning misses about what these Giants need now

That No. 1 pick figures to command a king’s ransom from any team that wants to trade up in hopes of selecting Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, this year’s Great Quarterback Hope after two decent seasons at Cal and one Heisman Trophy-winning campaign at Indiana. The Giants are set at quarterback with Jaxson Dart and thus could wheel and deal with abandon.
