Why the Cast of Calabasas Confidential Sounds Familiar: Meet the Celebrity Kids, Influencers & More

Preston Pippen is getting real about his newfound reality TV fame.

As it turns out, the son of Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen was well prepared for the drama that came with starring on Netflix's new docuseries Calabasas Confidential thanks to some sage advice from his Real Housewives of Miami mama.

"She just wanted to be myself," Preston told E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview. "Don't really trust anybody, because even though we're all friends, once in front of a camera, people are gonna act different."

And Larsa's warning couldn't have been more accurate.

As the 23-year-old added, "And that came true. So, I'm glad I took that."

Of course, joining the series meant Preston would have to address his famous family's headline-making history in the press, including Larsa's multi-million dollar divorce from the NBA legend, which was finalized in 2021. (The exes share four kids in addition to Scottie's four older children from previous relationships.)

"I kind of knew what I signed up for," Preston admitted in reference to his parents' volatile past. "I think in those moments of my parents splitting and all that drama, I did question, 'Do I want to face that again?'"

However, he noted, "I'm a big boy now."

As for his own love life, the baking aficionado sparked a fling with costar Alexie Epstein during season one.

Despite successfully moving out of the friend zone with Alexie, Preston played coy when asked if their romance is still going strong after filming.

"I'm gonna leave that in the dark," he teased, "for now."

As for what Preston's costars—including the offspring of stars like Master P and Bret Michaels—are up to after their debut season?

Keep reading to get to know the entire cast of Calabasas Confidential, which is streaming now on Netflix.

Hercy Miller

Hercy is the eighth of hip-hop mogul Percy "Master P " Miller's nine kids, and one of seven the rapper had with ex-wife Sonya Miller. (Daughter Tytyana died in 2022.)

He's already a reality TV alum, having appeared on Master P's Family Empire in 2015 with siblings Romeo, Cymphonique, Veno and Mercy before heading off to college to play basketball.

After hooping for several schools—and signing a $2 million NIL deal in 2021 with Front Office Sports—Hercy graduated from Southern Utah University in 2025 with a business degree.

"Everything I do," he says in his Calabasas Confidential Netflix bio, "is rooted in something bigger than just entertainment."

Meanwhile, the show features Hercy appealing to the NCAA for one more year of eligibility after past injuries cost him court time. Spoiler alert, his request for reinstatement was granted and Master P shared in February that he was coaching his son at University of New Orleans.

Jodie Woods

At 19, Jodie is the youngest of the show's stars, but she basically grew up learning how to deal with online chatter and other reality TV repercussions watching older sister (and roommate) Jordyn Woods navigate the spotlight.

"People will hate just because they weren’t in the same position as you growing up,” Jodie told Essence in 2024. “I just don’t listen to people on the Internet. Like, I know who I am in real life. My family’s got me. I’ve got real ones around me, so I don’t need y’all."

She was homeschooled and, after getting her diploma, jumped right into producing music and beauty influencing.

Preston Pippen

Preston is the sixth of Scottie Pippen's eight children, and the second born to the six-time NBA champion and now ex-wife Larsa Pippen.

He played basketball at private Sierra Canyon High School (Kylie Jenner, Ireland Baldwin and Bronny James are fellow alums) and, until now, stayed mostly out of the spotlight.

But he may be made for reality TV since, as he put it in his bio, "I'm always gonna say what everyone else is afraid to."

Alexie Olivo Epstein

The Sierra Canyon graduate—who shared "a little smooch" with Preston in high school—is focused on growing her modeling career and all things wellness.

“Whether it’s products, routines, supplements, workouts, or random wellness hacks, I am everyone’s go-to resource,” she says. “Erewhon is basically my second home.”

Emilie Nelson

The fashion influencer, who counts Alexie as one of her closest friends, is candid about wanting to settle down and start a family in the very near future, saying, "If he's not potentially my husband, I don't want it."

Kimora Nicole

The beauty influencer aspires to deejay a set at Coachella one day. And, in the meantime, as she puts it, "I'm always the person who gets the tea."

"I naturally move between different circles," she explained, "building connections from Sierra Canyon to Calabasas."

Raine Michaels

The daughter of Poison frontman Bret Michaels and his ex Kristi Lynn Gibson knows that fame has its thorns, hence her admitted tendency to "come across as a little reserved."

"I trust dogs instantly," she says, but "people have to earn it."

On the professional front, the self-proclaimed Calabasas mom (of German shepherds) made her modeling debut in Sports Illustrated at 18 and is now pursuing a career in sports broadcasting.

Ben Favaedi

The Calabasas High School and Indiana University alum plans to move to New York.

Until then, though he's now on a reality show, Ben is not volunteering to be captain of the drama club, saying, "All I care about is basketball and work."

Dylan Wolf

He doesn’t just wear a cowboy hat and boots—the Calabasas High grad really does ride horses and compete in local rodeos.

On the personal front, Dylan was spotted on a hand-holding coffee date in November with Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin's daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin.

Emma Medrano

"My high school self would call my current self very put-together," Emma says in her bio, "and I would agree with her."

Meanwhile, she's back in Calabasas with plans to start a swimwear line and—so far, so good—live a "soft luxury life."

Jemma Durrant

"Filmed a reality show with my best friends hallelujah," the aspiring influencer captioned a May 28 TikTok featuring a group hug with said besties.

At the same time, having found out that she's not the only one in her crew who's hooked up with Dylan, she notes in her bio, "Being in this friend group, I've learned to no longer kiss and tell."

KRISTA SCHLUETER/NETFLIX

Nicole Sahebi

The influencer has 3 million followers on TikTok and aspires to be "cool with everyone" on the show.

“Despite what they say," Nicole notes in her bio, "I don’t actually like being involved in people’s business.”

Sterling Retzlaff

The Alaska transplant says he "brings a breath of fresh air" to the Calabasas group dynamic, as he's "quite literally the outsider."

Moreover, the model won't be vying for anyone's affections on the show, as he's been in a relationship with Dance Moms alum Brynn Rumfallo since February 2024.

KRISTA SCHLUETER/NETFLIX

Suede Brooks

The influencer has 1.7 million Instagram followers not least because she previously dated Kid Cudi and has partied on a yacht with Drake.

But she was born ready for reality TV, deeming herself "the one people call when they want the real answer, even if they don't like the truth."
