The Los Angeles Dodgers have never done this before.
For the 2026 MLB season, they sold naming rights for their stadium (sort of) to Uniqlo.
There's a key caveat here. Their home ballpark is still known as Dodger Stadium.
The whole title is now Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium.
Regardless, it's an unprecedented move by a historic franchise.

What is Uniqlo?
Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing brand.
This is obvious evidence of the huge selling point that Shohei Ohtani is for the Dodgers. They also feature Japanese pitchers Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki.
The brand does have more than 75 stores in the United States, based mostly in shopping malls.
Worldwide, there are more than 2,000 Uniqlo locations.

Why Dodger Stadium now has added name Uniqlo Field?
The Dodgers are simply trying to keep their financial might flowing.
They're one of the richest franchises in sports, but naming rights bring more money into the coffers without a lot of effort.
They maintained the name Dodger Stadium, which is likely what most fans will continue to call it, but they also add in a sponsor that allows them to bring in more cash (although an exact amount isn't known).
