Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Jane read aloud the text messages at the court on June 9, 2025, from the conversations that allegedly happened between her and the rapper in 2023. While testifying against Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jane alleged that the artist started lovebombing when he wanted the witness for the "hotel nights."

“Whenever he wanted me or one of these nights, the lovebombing or persistency would start”, Jane said.

CNN posted live updates from Sean’s ongoing trial, based on which Jane was reading a text, telling Combs to spend time with his family members or Gina, a woman with whom Sean had been romantically involved in the past.

However, Sean allegedly replied by writing that he wanted to meet Jane. He allegedly added that he wanted to spend some time with the witness and was not willing to get intimate with her.

Jane then allegedly wrote in her response, claiming:

“You beat the love out of us. You made it crystal clear exactly what you want me for. You’re going to spend the day what lovebombing me so you can get what you want? It’s not genuine. I’ve hit a mental and spiritual wall.”

For the unversed, lovebombing refers to a psychological and emotional abuse where an individual attempts to manipulate someone to be in a relationship. According to the Cleveland Clinic, it might involve excessive praise for the other person alongside over-communication of feelings, showering with unwanted gifts, and early conversations about the future of the relationship.

Jane told the court that she did not respond to Sean’s calls after their dispute did not end until the next day, as per CNN. Diddy also allegedly sent a voice recording to Jane, saying that he wanted her and later wanted to come to Jane’s residence. Notably, Sean had reportedly been paying the rent for the house.

Jane told Diddy that she did not want to give her body to someone else

During her recent appearance at the court, Jane testified that Sean’s treatment towards her was different compared to how he behaved with other people. Jane said that she was expecting things like love, respect, and romance from a relationship, and Sean was allegedly giving all of these to someone else, as stated by CNN.

Back in October 2023, Jane allegedly told Diddy in a text message that she was not willing to perform “loveless cold sex.” Furthermore, Jane also wrote that she wanted a break since she was not willing to give her body to strangers, following which Combs allegedly replied:

“I’ll only make love to you.”

According to USA Today, Jane wanted to avoid the hotel nights and reportedly told Sean in a message that she was not a “porn star.” Jane also wrote:

“I need a break. I don’t want to do anything. I’ve hit a wall.”

In addition, Jane messaged Diddy, saying that she was tired since they were getting intimate like strangers. Sean allegedly once invited Jane over, telling her that he had an off day and wanted to spend the entire day with her without any strangers. However, Jane replied by writing that she can never satisfy Diddy since he keeps pushing her for more.

Combs allegedly wrote in his response:

“Let me make love to you, it’s filled with love.”

The Independent reported that Sean and the witness were reportedly dating until 2024. Apart from Jane, multiple other individuals have testified at the ongoing trial so far. This includes Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and her best friend Bryana Bongolan.
