Los Angeles is known for producing blockbusters.
And, on Monday, June 1, LA Rams General Manager Les Snead delivered yet another bombshell for the City of Angels.
The 55-year-old Alabama native orchestrated a trade with the Cleveland Browns that will bring two-time Defensive Player of the Year and NFL single-season sack record holder Myles Garrett to La La Land in exchange for linebacker Jared Verse and three draft picks.
According to Kay Adams, “[the] Rams were already the favorites to win the Super Bowl at +700 this morning. That was bumped up to +600 after the Myles Garrett trade on FanDuel.”
Garrett, 30, joins a truly stacked Mob Squad in Los Angeles.
Next year’s roster features 2025 NFL MVP Matthew Stafford, Pro Bowl running back Kyren Williams, First-team All-Pro wideout Puka Nacua, recent addition cornerback Trent McDuffie and veteran receiver and six-time Pro Bowler Davante Adams.
Most interestingly of all, rumors that Aaron Donald may come out of retirement — he hung up his cleats in 2023 — to re-join the Rams are swirling.
Now, with all the puzzles pieces in place, all Sean McVay’s mighty club has to do is mow through a fairly strong schedule made up of perennial contenders division rivals and powerhouses with chips on their shoulders.
Just a few of the most notable home games at their SoFi Stadium in 2026 include:
Yes, the final game of the season is a rematch of last year’s heartbreaking NFC Championship where they lost 31-27 to Sam Darnold’s eventual Super Bowl-winning squad.
