Vice President of the United States JD Vance recently shared his reaction after American political commentator Nick Fuentes appeared to make racist comments about his wife, Usha Vance.

According to The Mirror, Nick Fuentes reportedly labelled Vance a “race traitor” for being married to Usha Vance, who is the daughter of two Indian immigrants. The podcaster also previously used a racial slur, “jeet”, to refer to the second lady.

The 41-year-old politician, according to the New York Post, in an interview published in UnHerd on Sunday, December 21, 2025, took shots at Nick Fuentes after the influencer allegedly poked fun at the Indian heritage of the current second lady of the United States. JD Vance also called out Jen Psaki, who served as former President Joe Biden’s press secretary.

“Let me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat sh*t. That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States,” JD Vance said.

According to the New York Post, after Vance was selected as second-in-command to US President Donald Trump, the far-right activist reportedly remarked:

“Who is this guy, really? Do we really expect that the guy who has an Indian wife and named their kid Vivek is going to support white identity?”

Notably, during the same interview with UnHerd, Vance expressed his views against antisemitism and racism. Stating his disagreement, the 50th vice president of the United States said:

“Antisemitism and all forms of ethnic hatred have no place in the conservative movement. Whether you’re attacking somebody because they’re white or because they’re black or because they’re Jewish, I think it’s disgusting.”

Meanwhile, Jen Psaki, the former Biden press secretary, reportedly commented that Usha Vance needed to be rescued from her husband. During an appearance on the I’ve Had It podcast in October, the MSNBC host remarked:

“I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of [Vance’s] wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here. We’ll save you.”

Earlier this month, Nick Fuentes was also attacked by English journalist Piers Morgan for his racist remarks regarding Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President JD Vance. The 60-year-old media personality questioned the influencer for using the term “jeet” to refer to the second lady during the latter’s appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Monday, December 8.

When Morgan asked Fuentes:

“You called JD Vance’s wife a jeet. What does that mean?”

The podcaster explained its meaning:

“It’s a slur for Indians.”

During the conversation, the influencer also appeared to laugh after Piers Morgan called him a racist. Meanwhile, Nick Fuentes is also reportedly accused of making misogynistic comments against women. In the nearly two-hour interview with Morgan, the influencer expressed his opinions on women, adding that they shouldn’t have the right to vote.

Notably, when Piers went on and asked Nick about theories of him being attracted towards women, the influencer clarified, “I am attracted to women… but I will say that women are very difficult to be around, so there’s that.”

JD Vance reportedly married Usha in 2014 after they met at Yale Law School in their 20s. The pair are also parents of three children.
