It's officially time to dance. The 2026 NCAA softball championship is underway and Oklahoma will kick the Norman regional off with a matchup against Binghamton.
The championship bracket was announced on Sunday, placing 64 teams — 33 automatic qualifiers and 31 at-large bids — into their postseason positions. Highly anticipated matchups will kick off Friday with double-elimination regional round play, followed by best-of-three super regionals, and eventually the Women's College World Series.
Following an upset loss in the SEC tournament, the Sooners did not receive the No. 1 overall seed, but they were awarded the No. 3, and will be hosting their own regional in Norman. Binghamton earned an automatic bid in the bracket by clinching the America East Conference tournament.
