Medicube NAD EGF Firming Serum for Face & Neck
Plump and firm your skin with this serum, which contains anti-aging ingredients including NAD and EGF. It minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooths texture, and boosts overall radiance.
What is NAD+?
If the term NAD+ (short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) sounds familiar, it's likely because you've seen several celebrities receiving IVs infused with the ingredient. Now, the emerging ingredient has entered the skincare arena, with brands including Goop, Aramore, and now Medicube leading the charge.
According to experts, it's touted for cellular repair, reducing inflammation, and firming skin, among other anti-aging benefits. Like collagen, NAD+ levels decline as you age, which is why the skincare industry is exploring how it can be replenished to maintain youthful skin.
What is EGF?
EGFs (epidermal growth factors) are an up-and-coming ingredient that's gained significant popularity over the last year or so. Chelsea Strauser, Dermstore's VP of Buying, told E! last year that she predicted it would be the next big anti-aging trend.
Known for its wound healing properties, EGFs are proteins known to boost collagen production, provide anti-inflammatory benefits, and aid in preventing and fading hyperpigmentation, expert sources say. This makes it an ideal choice for those with acne-prone skin who want to slow signs of aging.
