The No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-1) are set to defend their home turf at Notre Dame Stadium against the Virginia Cavaliers (5-4).
In their previous matchup, Notre Dame's quarterback Riley Leonard threw for 215 yards, completing 14 of his 27 passes (51.9%), with one touchdown pass to his name. Leonard also made waves on the ground, running 11 times for 70 yards and punching in two rushing touchdowns.
On the other side, Virginia’s Anthony Colandrea put up 143 passing yards, going 16-for-24 (66.7%), with one touchdown but was picked off twice. Colandrea also kept the defense on its toes with 40 rushing yards on 14 carries. Xavier Brown contributed with 68 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 attempts and caught two passes for 28 yards.
