A celebration decades in the making is on tap at Rogers Centre as the World Series returns to Toronto for Game 6.
The Blue Jays are on the verge of their first championship since 1993 after an emphatic response to their heartbreaking 18-inning loss in Game 3. Since Freddie Freeman's latest dramatic home run seemingly launched the Dodgers toward another title, L.A. has managed only three runs on 10 hits in a pair of defeats.
The good news for the reigning champions is they have the perfect pitcher on the mound to return the favor. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is back for Game 6 after throwing consecutive shutouts, and the Jays lineup will have to try and solve him once again.
Of course, L.A. will need to score some runs of its own to keep its season alive for one more game. Kevin Gausman will lead Toronto's effort to prevent that.
