The AFC West race could be tense all the way until Week 18, but the Las Vegas Raiders (2-6) don't look like they will be part of it.
While Las Vegas isn't giving up quite yet in coach Pete Carroll's first season, the Raiders are more likely to play spoiler down the stretch than to be any kind of factor in the race.
For the Denver Broncos (7-2), the mission on "Thursday Night Football" will be avoiding disappointment before a massive matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.
Sean Payton's squad has won six consecutive games after starting the season 1-2 with a pair of last-second losses. Denver has looked dominant at times, including in a victory over the Dallas Cowboys, but the offense lagged behind in wins over the New York Jets and Houston Texans.
