Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders will take their competition for the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback job into the public eye in Saturday's preseason opener at the Chicago Bears.
Watson and Sanders were listed as co-No. 1s on the depth chart released earlier this week, with new coach Todd Monken declining to tip his hand on where things stand in one of the NFL's most intriguing position battles. The veteran Watson will start Saturday, with Sanders to follow him, and they will reverse roles in the second preseason game against the Bills.
On the opposite sideline, the Bears have no drama when it comes to the starting spot, with Caleb Williams entrenched there. He won't play Saturday and may not at all this preseason, so expect to see plenty of Tyson Bagent, who will start against Cleveland, and Case Keenum.
