Wealthy SoCal tech founder charged with murder of estranged wife found at bottom of 75-foot mountainside

A wealthy Southern California tech entrepreneur has been charged with murdering his estranged wife, whose body was found at the bottom of a 75-foot embankment off a mountain road late last year, police said.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office on Sunday charged Gordon Abas Goodarzi, 66, in the death of Aryan Papoli, 58, of Newport Beach, after he was arrested at his home Friday in the luxury Rolling Hills Estates.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Tuesday.
